Review of the D-Day Beaches shore excursion from Le Havre, with Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, two cemeteries, lunch, and cruise-safe timing.

“This was an excellent excursion. There was a lot to cover and we had enough time at each stop. We stopped at the 1st American Cemetery, the permanent American cemetery, Omaha Beach, bunkers overlooking Omaha Beach, and the German gun bunkers where the Rangers landed. Bert, the tour guide, was excellent. He not only told the history of the areas but added some very insightful personal stories. He was always around to direct us at the tour sites and was available for questions.”

See Marseille’s basilica, Old Port, Palais Longchamp, Saint Victor, and local food history on a practical four-hour shore excursion.

“It was not a small group but 3 large buses full of people. Our tour guide was not as informative as other guides which made it hard to determine what we were seeing. We also felt very rushed at all locations.”
